I just played through Blue Shift (pretty short game) and I'm a little confused with the weapons. In all of the screenshots I have seen, you use a Beretta instead of a Glock, and an M4 instead of an MP5. But when I played through, I had the same old guns. Do you have to be playing the game on a harder difficulty level to use these guns, or is there some secret thing I don't know about? Or does Valve just hate me... :P

On the Blue-Shift autorun menu click install HD pack

the high definition pack never worked for me... ;(

its not much of a big deal though. i can live with crappy weapons. in fact, i refuse to play blueshift untill it is released on steam, even though i have it installed.

You guys aren't answering anything unfortunatley, his point is the HD pack makes no sense, because they changed what the guns where entirely... I realized the same thing.. the glock becomes a beretta and the smg turns into an m4a1 \: etc.

Yeah, he thought they were new guns that were Blue-shift exclusives, not revamps of the old ones.

No, I was actually just wondering how to use the revamps :P I played through with the old ones, and didn't know how to use the new ones.

Oh, well go to Blue-Shift's auto run menu and install the HD pack. Then boot BS or HL via non-steam (old won version that Blue Shift came out on)
