I've compiled a TEMPORARY list of console commands... the more I get the more I will add.... and eventully once we get all of them (that we know of) I will put them in Alpabetical order for you all and give you an aweosme description of them all! Again I didn't write these... I just grabbed them from different forums... so I dont' want to take credit for them untill I write my own descriptions of them. Thanks for everyone who worked to get these all!

MODS PLEASE STICK IF YOU THINK IT IS A GOOD IDEA!!!!

To use these u need Cheats on (I think u need it on for all of them).
To do so either start up Half Life 2 and click on "Options" then hit the "Advance" button then check the "Console" box and hit Ok. Then just hit the "~" key to open up console (its the key on the top left next to the 1 key)

Then Type in SV_Cheats 1 in console and hit Submit...

god - God mode
give - Gives a weapon or an item (see the list below)
buddha - Reduces your health
hurtme # - Hurts the player (# is damage amount)
impulse 101- All weapons
impulse 82 - Spawns a jeep
notarget - Player becomes hidden to NPCs
noclip - Walk through walls (server side only)
maps - Displays map list
map - Load a specified map (see the list below)
developer # - Sets developer mode to on/off/verbose
(0-off, 1-on, 2-verbose)
+mlook - Enables mouse look
hud_quickhelp/text? 1 - Shows crosshair
viewmodel_fov # - Sets the size of the weapon you're carrying (54 is default)
exec - Execute a script file
cl_drawhud 1 - Turns hud display on
cl_enablehud 1 - Turns hud display on
cl_showfps 1 - Shows frames per second in game
npc_create - Creates an NPC (works in worlds that have an NPC entity)
npc_create_aimed - Creates an NPC aiming away from the player.
picker - Toggles 'picker' mode.
setpos - Move player to specified origin
setang - Snap player eyes to specified pitch yaw
sv_gravity # - Set gravity to #
sv_stopspeed # - Set minimum stopping speed when on ground to #
sv_friction # - Sets world friction to #
sv_bounce # - Sets bounce multiplier for physically simulated objects collision
sv_maxvelocity # - Sets the maximum velocity of any moving object to #
sv_waterdist # - Sets vertical view fixup when eyes are near water plane to #

If any of these are not working please notfiy me ASAP... again sorry if there are any repeats... I quickly just threw a bunch in to help some of you guys out there! I'll be updating this a lot to make it easier and more effecient for everyone :naughty:
 
just a question for the sk_max commands - if i type in new ones early in the game will they stay like that all throughout the game? Or do i have to type them in every map, or every time i quit?
 
my guess might be for every time the Console "reloads" itself... could be every map.. every checkpoint... or could be when you actully restart STeram... I would just think u would have to go and check urself.. tell us what happens so I can change that and say what happens! Thanks!
 
You can load the menu baackgrounds too, background01 it goes to 07.

Ever heard of giving people credit when you post their stuff, or linking to the thread you stole it off? That's what most people do. Is it really that hard? I don't think so.

hey guys, when i type npc_create_aimed_combine_s it doesn't work, can anyone tell me the correct command please?
 
I figured out you have to set the "sk_max_xxxx" commands every map load, so what i did was create a config file named ammo.cfg with all the max ammo commands in it them bound it to execute on a key strike. Every map load i hit the ammo key and it lets me collect up to the max ammount i specified in the commands (in my case roughly the same max's that were in HL1).

Little more info on the max ammo commands: on map load it wont get rid of the ammo you have for your weapons but it wont let you collect any more untill you have less than the default number.

You added an extra "_"

It should look like:

npc_create_aimed npc_combine_s

Is there a command that lets you hurt/kill your teammates/friendlys/resistance members? Its so stupid how they can hit you but you can't shoot back.

It works... kinda. Its a grey dummy with Gordons arm sticking out of it... lol. I was hoping it would work correctly for editdemo purposes.
