You ever notice people are constantly bringing up kick votes against one particular player, but at no point does it get more that 10% who vote yes and nobody ever gives a reason to vote yes?
I was just playing a game and shortly after joining I noticed someone had initiated a vote kick against me. At first I just thought that it was cause the guy didn’t like the fact I punished him for TKing me, but then I noticed as soon as the vote failed another vote was initiated by someone else. So at this point I’m thinking that it must have been his mate or whatever and I ignore it.
Two rounds go by and there hasn’t been a single moment in the game that didn’t have a kick vote against me so I ask, “Is there some reason why you all keep trying to vote me off or is it just one of those BF2 things”. Someone reassures me not to worry, that it’s just the way some assholes are, and nobody else says anything. So at that point I’m thinking **** it, it’s not like they’re getting very many votes so I’m not likely to get kicked.
Then someone says something along the lines of, “omg the game just said I voted to kick him but I didn’t” and later when someone initiates a vote against a team killer it stops spamming votes against me, or anyone else for that matter.
Has anyone else noticed something similar? It seems to me this must be caused by a bug, and a common one at that because I see it all the time. It’s not such a big deal cause the votes always fail but I have noticed that its causing people to completely ignore kick votes, you have to really try hard to get a successful one. Even this one time a guy sat in the carrier AA gun and shot all his teammates as they spawned and went for the aircraft, he had a score of -60 and it was really hard to get anyone to vote yes for the vote.
