Constantine and Hitch

Anyone watched Constantine yet? I watched it on sunday, its a really good film, i'd reccomend anyone to watch it. The devil is a bit corny at the end but apart from that i thought this is one of the best films to come out for a long time. Love the special effects...you think HL2 has good physics?

you should see the physics in this when the devil stops time and walks around...well i thought it was an amazing bit of special effects. I love the way he does an Exorcism at the start. Great film!.

Watched Hitch to...not got much to say about it except its quite a funny film and interesting

If you're an action film type of person this probably isn't for you, but i thought it was a good film. Something different from the usual.

Theres already a fairly sizable thread on Constantine that got buried. Most people (myself included) loved it, and I particularly loved the casting job they did for the devil.

yeah constantine is sweet, on the other hand...Hitch...I haven't seen it nor do I plan to...it has will smith in it and I hate him so I declare it gay...

I've seen Constantine. It was OK - 6/10. Better than the average movies of the same type that come out.

Hitch was 'meh' in every way. I'm already forgetting it.

Constantine was pretty good though, because of Tilda Swinson.

I've seen both, and both of them are some of the best movies I've seen in quite a while. I was really impressed with Constantine, I was expecting more sex and cussing, but they really didn't have much cussing, and they didn't even kiss!
Hitch was also quite a bit more cleaner than I expected.

But both were great movies.

You should'nt think like that. I,Robot is an amazing film as well (starred by Will Smith - if you didn't know).

Constatine was pretty good. 8/10 More interesting than the other movies out there recently.
I guess I'll go check out Hitch and see for myself

I, Robot was a steaming pile of shit. That's one of the few movies where I was literally pissed off that not only had I spent money on it, but that I spent my time on it. It was just so bad, the original story was good but film just really raped the entire premise. Not to mention the whole thing as like on giant commercial for every damn product imaginable. Will Smith is a terrible actor, just horrible. His films are bad and the characters he plays are usually the same, with the notable exception of Ali.

Unfortunately I did see Hitch, and it was just one more crappy romantic comedy. They're all very very bad, and this one is no worse nor any better. It's a generic romantic comedy where anything remotely funny was given away in the trailer. Just not worth watching.

Constantine was not a bad movie. I enjoyed it, thought that it was pretty good. I was particularly impressed with Keanu Reeves, the character actually seemed slightly different from his normal roles and he did a decent job.

oh I saw I,Robot and it was gay too, I mean what do you see within the first 5 minutes of the movie...will smiths naked butt...*cough*gay*cough* lol and in my opinion I,Robot wasn't that great...i mean the robots didnt even shooting lasers out of their eyes..cmon jeez

I thought Constantine was crap. They advertised it as a thriller/horror movie and it didn't scare me or thrill me at all because nothing happened. All this talk about the devil's son and blah blah blah for 2 hours and all you got was two 30 second fight scenes, two exorcism's and a long chat with a fruity Satan (who, for some reason, can afford a nice white suit, and no shoes to go with it). Plus Mamnon looked like Alien from the X-files. Even a more traditional and unoriginal demon would be cooler and more interesting.

Although i actually thought Keanu Reeves didn't do a bad job in it.

I thought all the acting was top notch. You're right in that it wasn't scary, but it was a very good film nontheless... films don't have to be scary to be good. I liked the concepts of heaven and hell, I especially liked the bit where Constantine went to Hell and came back with Isabelles wristband...

I'm definately getting the DVD :smoking:

yer i thought the acting in constantine was excellent and the directing was superb! i loved the film from start to finish and was disappointed when it ended.

i saw hitch yesterday and considering it was will smith (who's a bit of a bellend) i enjoyed that too.
