Contagion Indie Game Announced For Source Engine

[br]What on earth is this indie game you may be wondering. Well it will probably already be quite familiar to fans of the popular Half-life 2 mod - Zombie Panic: Source. Contagion is the spiritual successor to ZPS developed by the same faces known as Monochrome LLC.[br]The original mod was straight up multi-player action, however Contagion is a full game which will also provide a full single-player experience alongside the new multi-player action.[br]Check out some of the art below sent to us by the team. I played ZP: Source quite a lot. It has some amazing moments, because there isn't an abundance of weapons like in L4D. Having a shotgun with some extra shells or a rifle with an extra clip makes you feel like the king.

Had some good times with the original ZP for Goldsrc.
Didn't play the Source version that often because it was filled with griefing kiddies.

Sounds really cool. ZP was great from what I've played, though I never really got into it. I was more of a Zombie Master guy. This could be amazing, though. There aren't really many games that fill the traditional zombie niche. Shambling hordes, scarce firearms and ammo, barricades and last stands. Left 4 Dead and Killing Floor are more high adrenaline shooters than zombie horror, and neither has much of a singleplayer to speak of.
