Convert dem files?

I know about the fraps thing but is their a way to convert dems into wmv? I have the movie in dem but how do I convert it? Thanks lots if you can tell me.

Well usually you record the dem, then use fraps to capture the demo file after its already record it (just play it back)

The more appropriate method would be to capture the demo frame by frame as images, and then assemble them, but I don't know how to do that.

the best way (but more time consuming) is to use some command they have were it takes screenshots at a constant 30fps

then you get some other program that compiles the screens together to make an avi. from there you could convert to whatever you want.

this makes the movie perfectly smooth and consistant
