How do I convert my AVI, WMV and OGM files to 320*240 .mov format so I can play it on my iPod video? Apple's website says use Quicktime to export, but Quicktime can only convert AVI's and it doesn't have DivX support. Does anyone know of any freeware converters to convert videos to .mov format?

Edit: I found Videora iPod converter, but it doesn't have ogm support (and most of my files are in OGM format, unfortunately).

well if you have nero you can get teh plug in for ogn, and convert it the the I.345 or what ever it is, because ipod supports that

There's also an excellent free program you can use called Videora or Videodora, I can't quite remember.

Ya i was going to recommend videora but you said you tried that, imho just google maybe

Another question, what's the optimal bitrate for videos on the iPod?

A swift up and down motion with a hammer, 1000 swings per second, (sps) should do it justice. And on your head too, for buying an ipod in the first place.
