Cool 3D puzzle

This fun little 3D puzzle was posted on Digg and I thought I'd share it here. It says it's NOT easy which I agree with, it's challenging but I didn't find it too difficult to complete all the puzzles.

How? I cant get lower than 25

EDIT: ok, down to 14 also, and yeah second one was easy.

Okay I got them all except for first one...

Last two were pretty hard.

On eight you could get 14 instead of the required 16, but that might have been part of the challenge...I fit 16 in anyway

I could do all of them with the right amount of cubes except for the first and last one.

I burned through all 10 puzzles in no time. Of course I'm also a 3D artist, so this kind of stuff is quite elementary to me.

basically every cell in the whole 3d matrix has to occupy one cube.

Well I don't and I found it disappointingly easy.

The only one I found difficult was the first. I can only get it to 14.

Here is a simpler way to do #1. #10 is very easy, just make sure that each row/column/depth has only 1 cube in it.

I got all of them. I even had 2 of them as green circles because I got the answer using less than the max number of cubes. I guess I "think outside of the box" that or do too many drugs.

green just means you have the shape, and need to loose a few blocks.

It also turns green if you get the shape using less blocks than required

I only found one that could be done with less. I think that green just means that the number of blocks you used is different than their number
