What is your coolest most valuable items you have. I've come accross many great weapons, armors and other items but I would have to say my coolest is most useful is my Mundane Ring worth 21,600 gold (like any merchant has that  ) and it Reflects spell 35% on self and Resists magic 50%. So very useful against spell casters. Also, a ring that a made that gives +100 feather.

Both of my characters are poor. :(

One is but a humble alchemist who travels on his horse to far reached places to scour new alchemy ingredients.

The other is a Thief who blows all his money on his Skooma and alcohol diet.

by far my favourite items are the dark brotherhood cowl and armor ..it just looks so cool plus it weighs nothing and has magical properties, ie: it makes me not suck ass

I wish the DB Cloak and Hood looked as cool as the armour. :(

hmmm cloak and hood? must be later on in the quests

/me sticks fingers in ears so as to not hear spoilers

i have a Dedrea sword that kicks ass, but i have to say the DB armor and hood, and the DB cloak and hood

Eek. Sorry. It's not really a spoiler providing I tell you no more anyway.

I think I'll pay you a visit later on tonight

/engage chameleon spell

*sneak sneak, stab stab stab, loot*

Hmm, right now they are either:

a Greater Staff of Lightning (80 shock dmg!)

or maybe my Ring of Wizardry (+10 to all magic abilities, including alchemy)

or maybe my Ring of the Gray (Sneak, Marksman, Acrobatics, Security +5, detect life 50ft, resist poison 50%).

I really want to find the elusive Ring of Perfection which is like +10 to everything I think, but maybe its just a rumor?

Just checked it. Not a rumor. if you want to see it open the console and type:

"player.additem 00098446 1"

oh and if you want to delete it afterwards type the same but change additem for removeitem (no cheating!!! jk)

Awesome ring btw ;)

Where did you find the first one? :O

I have umbra, azura's star, and an elven dagger of absorb health (20). Probably the cheesiest combination in rpg-history.

.bog.

I do have these things that increase your Hand-to-Hand ability by 20 when worn. :O If you want to know where to find them: they are in a chest by the two sparring people outside the Arena.

my fave possession would definately be the staff of the worm king.
ressurect and make any humanoid fight for you for 30 seconds (no limit on how many at a time you can control)

********************SPOILER*************************

when I was ordered to kill the dark brotherhood, I figured I would give em more mileage by making em all get back up and follow me around some, did a couple quests with vincente and ocheeva, heh.

********************SPOILER*************************

I love the staff so much because it looks so damn cool when you use it :D
all my items are custom enchanted items:

Black Ring of Intellect (+10 int)
Black Ring of Water Breathing (water breathing)
Boots of Intellect (+10 int)
Black Hood of Illumination (Light 40ft constant effect)
Black Robes of Wisdom (+10 Wisdom)

got about 150,000 gold now, mostly from alchemy and selling everything I find, since my armor is all cloth, it takes up no weight, and I have a spell (Lighten Load (level 1), -custom- that increases the amount I can carry by 200 for 120 seconds)

Probably the Ring of Water-Walking that I made. I just like pretending to be Jesus. :)

My DB uniform is probably the coolest I have, however I wish the hood was more like the Mythic Dawn one, but pure black.

I had Azura's Star. I knew how powerful it was from playing Morrowind, but I gave it to Martin regardless

I think my coolest item at the moment is probably the mundane ring, its magic reflect is just amusing. Watching mages catch themselves on fire never gets old.

Odd how i now have 3 of them though!

Oh, he asked me for it, but he reconsidered when I started fumbling for my weapons. He let me go and fetch another one instead. Clever lad.

I agree with Stern. DB armor and hood is teh pwn. So light and pretty strong, boosts some stats too which is nice :)

My glass bow is shiney :)

well, raided a few caves and got all glass objects and then enchanted them all! now i think thats my most valuable items >:D

Probably the Apron of Adroitness.

Yes, Apron. So ugly, but so very beneficial to my build :(

I play exclusively in first-person since I got it (still shudder every time I bring up the inventory)...

Sorcerors Ring. That + Atronach starsign + some amulet I can't remember give me 92 Spell Absorption. Overpowered! :D

Uh, well, im only level 5 atm so i'd have to say the Boots of Water Walking i just found :)

On my new (level 15) character, I got this +8 Personality, +8 Speachcraft +8 Mercintile shirt. Even though I'm now level 22, I consider that one of my most valuable items.

I'm loving my Glass long sword and bow right now.

forgot about my light leather "GLoves of the Caster" +8 to Mysticism, Alteration and Conjuration.

Uhhh... I know what you mean, I've been wearing it for some time only to boost my stats. I looked like a blacksmith not a hero :|

I know. Can't even get away from it in first person! The sleeves... oh, the sleeves...

Meh, the most interesting thing i have right now is an enchanted katana, and a couple of rings, one that reduces fire damage done to me, and can't remember what the other does.

I'm only level 6, and i've only played 10 hours or so, hence my measly inventory

:(

1. I don't have time.....
2. I still <3 css, so i play that when time permits, but
3. So wish i had more time to spend on oblivion.

This thread is old, but I felt the need to post that I made the most awesome weapon ever. I found a Transcendent Sigil Stone that deals 30 damage to health per hit, and combined it with a Daedric longsword. The result:

Aesahaettr!

What level are you?! My Sigil Stones are only giving me 15 of whatever....

Ah... the sigil stones don't get to be the most powerful until level 17.

I just hit 26, btw.

Of course, damage-wise that is the most powerful (and possibly the rarest) sigil stone in the game... but still.

Also, anyone who can tell me where the sword's name came from, and what it means, gets a cookie and my respect.

My Mythic Dawn Robe thing you find in the jail the first 5 minutes.

Yeah, stfu, I'm a thief, I don't need nothin but my lockpickin and quick-savin skillz.

Wikipedia said:
A knife with a double-edge, the Æsahættr possessed one edge of keen steel, which could cut through any material. The other edge was even sharper, extending to a point so fine that the eye could not see it. This edge was able to search out gaps in the fabric of space and thus cut through the fabric of the universe, into parallel dimensions, referred to in the books as other worlds.

Basically, a philosophical knife.

But I already have your respect!

just remembered that i have the 'blade of woe' that the night mother enchants:O

I must have stabbed five people with that thing. Not once did they cry, shit they didn't even feel bad, they just died.
