Post your opinion!

I made some gifs from Killzone, which I believe got some really awesome reload animations. Here are some of the weapons, sorry about the poor quality though.

Resident Evil 4 got some nice as well. Especially the sniper rifle. (Thanks to tedtropy from the Gaming-Age forums for the gif.)

Area - 51's shotguns (dual) and SMP had some ok ones, I REALLY can't think right now.

Every freakin' reload animation in The Specialists mod.

The AK reload animations in BF2.

Most games don't reload right, as they empty the trigger and never reload manually the gun, as you should in real life. The only game that does it right is, yep, Half Life.

Pretty much every weapon in dod:s. Battlefield 2 as well.

LoL wow :p

You know... Slap my hands and call me an idiot, but I just don't focus on reload anim's when playing games... For some reason (call me crazy here), but my brain keeps telling me to focus on the guys shooting at me.... Again, call me crazy here if I'm doing something wrong!

Hmm... I love the animations in BF2. Oh, I know! The original Doom reloads! Now THOSE were sweet.

I like the reload animation of the baby shocktrooper because it's funny. Most of the other weapon reload animations seem the same - the only differences I pay attention to for some reason are the shotgun reloads, and I'm partial to Halo's rendition of that.

*Slaps hands* Your a crazy bastard.:p

Uhh... Rainbow Six 3 for the PC has the best and most realistic reload animations than in any game so far!

Perfect Dark 0, CSS (pistols), TS mod, Battlefield: Vietnam, any many others I cant think of (lots of mods)

The M249 animation in BF2.

I like the F2000 also, because its a sweet gun.

TS3 shotgun is pretty hawt, but I'd say Resident evil 4's sniper rifle takes the win.

Weapon animation is one of those details that set the AAA titles apart from the rest. Those animations really are kickass, especially the re one. Really ace how the character moves his head to focus on what he is doing.

.bog.

I like custome ones in CSS.....

cdg.net..... I love their forum

resi 4's sniper rifle is teh pwn indeed..

but big boss in mgs3, when hanging from a tree branch with 1 hand, reloads his pistol with the the other, Own'd!!anyone got a .gif for that?

also how he ejects the tranquiliser guns bullet casings when hanging from a tree is awesome, using his mouth!!!

Resident Evil 4 - the rifle reloading, feels like a real rifle
Day Of Defeat: Source - the handgun reloading, is just brilliant
Unreal Tournament - Dual pistol reloading is quite cool

Hm, you possible mean Unreal 1 instead of UT? As far as I'm concerned, UT hasn’t got a reload animation for the Enforces. However in Unreal 1 it got a reload animation which is quite cool.

Resident Evil 4 Magnum reload is killer. Better than the rifle reload IMHO. Heck, the merchant selling it even says that its not so much about the gun as the reload. Very funny comment.

I thought the default glock reload in CSS was kinda plain... :| But yeah, the Magnum (Broken Butterfly) reload animation in RE4 > Rifle reload, but to be fair both of them kick all kinds of ass.

Needler Halo1. Gotta love a lot of needles suddenly thrusting up through your gun!

I looooove the Handcannon reload in RE4, but I must say... while it's super-unrealistic, the reload anim for the dual Colts in HL2 Substance Gold is pretty freaking sick.

I forgot to mention, I love the reload for the Thompson in Moh:AA and CoD2.

Max Payne was reloading his dual pistols in a cool way in MP2 when in slo-mo, though I don't have a clue how was he switching clips while doing his spin.
