That'd be a rather odd easter egg... I reckon it'd have to be something that people that'd never played OP4 could "get"... Maybe a passing reference to another resistance cell somewhere, led by an "A. Shepherd", or a mention of another of the G-Man's agents being, perhaps, a "Captain Shepherd" (I reckon he deserves a promotion :E)...

I read somewhere that Blue Shift, Opposing Force, and Decay were all used some parts of Marc Laidlaw's original storyline but were dropped (i.e. Race X, a scientist contacting the military, bla bla bla). So I guess they could use Shepard. They used Calhoun so why not? Maybe even add Colette Green and Gina Cross somewhere.

being sheppard is much better cause u get a platoon and more respect lol...ne way i found opposing force a bit more better in gameplay but it was too short so half life owns it cause when ur gordon ur in more action
