There's poeple arguing over how valid the info on the site is, but this isn't a thread about that. I was wondering could the site be literally in the game. I was thinking that, perhaps, when you log into AS.com you could be playing Chell logging into the PCs you come across after you break out in 19. I know there are multiple holes in this, such as the fact that the site has a different colour scheme to the screens of the PCs' that you see.

This is like my thoughts on the HEV suit helmet, it's not really a story thing or based on much evidence, but I like the idea of it and it's how I role-play the game (Which I do with all HL games, to an extent).

Haha, I don't think there's anything wrong with far out theories. My first time through the game when I reached testchamber 17 and GLaDOS was constantly reminding me that the companion cube was not able to talk and that I should not take it's advice, it made me think that she had a previous test subject stored inside of it.

Yeah, that would be possible. Glad I'm not the only one who roleplays in an FPS.

Hehe. I always RP in games with silent protagonists. I used to always do it with the GTAs.

Frankly, I'm RPing Chell as we speak.

That's right, first thing I did when I got out of Aperture Science was to check the Singleplayer mythology forum. Who'd have thought that GlaDOS was really my mother!

I only RP RTS games. I might RP a game of DoW later tonight.

My thoughts was that GLaDOS was trying to instill a sense of emotion towards the cube for me, even though the cube wasn't doing anything.

It worked.

It was really really hard to put my Companion Cube in the Incinerator...
