Could not read memory.... i need help

Hi guys i could use some help im trying to play garrys mod 10 using counter strike source and when i launch the game it suddenly crashed and sayed HL2.exe memory could not be read. theres some numbers in there too but i cant remeber them so if anyone has any idea of what to do please respond.

Hl2.exe memory cannot be read.

It's simply that you need HL2, since most models are based off of HL2.

Actually no. Each source game comes with ALL Source with it. HL2 Models and everything, Even if you only play CSS. The only thing you need HL2 for to run it is that Garry's Mod Also attempts to read the HL2 CODE GCF File. Not Model Files.
