Hey i know this is a stupid question but does half life 2 : ep1 take after Half life 2 or is it what happens in between number 1 and 2

aftermath(ep1) takes place right after HL2. So big explosion, running away from a massive collapsing building...you know, the usual Aftermath type of effect

Half-life 2: Episode 1 takes place directly after (as in, seconds after) the events of HL2. The Citadel is in meltdown and is about to wipe out City 17, as Gordon Freeman you attempt to evacuate.

7-hour war was basically the Combine onslaught - they came to an already bruised Earth and eradicated our forces.

remember in the seven hour war there were no human combine soldiers so they had to have used synths like striders and ship floatey thingies.

earth was like "ZOMG STRIDER SPAM!!!! ROFL"

Pfft. He's just read through the files.

Either way, I am no longer stoked because I am on holiday from June 1st to the 3rd, then I have two weeks nearly solid with exams. Then a whole week of partying for no exams. Then two weeks work expirience. Then summer holidays. Maybe I can stretch it out until Ep 2. :|
