Am I the first to get a flashbang kill? LOL

No this is not a photoshop job.

I was playing this afternoon. And as the picture show, I received a flashbang kill. I didn't even think this was possible, but here it is. I thought you people might enjoy it.

Yeah I tested this with Crash in the beta.

Basically you get them to 98health and then throw a flashbag at them, cause theres no mini flashbag icon it uses the large one.

Thats not a flashbang, thats a smoke nade. Flashbangs are at an angle. For proof, but a smoke nade and a flashbang then press 4, a little menu will come up for you to select one.

Either way....wierd...

Get a friend, if you have any, knock them down to 98 health, throw a flashbag onto there chest and watch them die.

Once i threw a flashbang and a teammate got in my way.
I hit his head, the flashbang bounced off, leaving blood on my teammate...

so i guess it does damage

ps: and you mean "knock them down to 2 hp", don't you?

yeah, i've done that. you just have to HIT the person with the smoke or flash (doesn't work with frag) nade and it does 1 or 2 damage. pretty hilarious.

Flashbangs used to do damage in the early betas. About 5-10. I once got 2 people with one.

yea one time i accidently blocked a flash when retreating (i was only on 9 hp) and it hit me, and the red damage icon bar things come up, and i had 7 hp

I was a long time SoF2 player, and in that game the flashes and smokes did a very small amount of damage in a very, very small radius. It was pretty rare, but every now and then people got kills with the nade. But of course it required the person to be nearly dead already. It'd be easier if you did damage by hitting them with the nade than having it explode near them, so it'd probably be easier in this than in sof2.

BTW, the CDN server rocks. Always a good experience, good admins too.

you can hit people with flash/smoke nades now...he musta had 1 hp and no armor, and hit him with one. killed

so does the flashbang/smoke nade make 2dmg when it explodes in front of someone or if it just hits them? let's say I chuck it at an enemy's head and it bounces off and then explodes. Would it still kill them from the hit if they had 2 hp?

yeah, sometimes i see an ally with 1 or 2 hp left and if i have any flash or nades left i like to TK them.

Not there first, iv had one in game aswell as testing it in beta Altho it was my own team emmber i killed with it

Flashbangs and Smokes both do 1 damage if you hit someone with them. I'm not sure why but Frags don't do any damage if you hit someone with them. Me and a few clan members were fooling around with that a while ago. Good fun.
