Countdown On ATI Site

It's a count down til a New Year. Happy 2006!~

lol its prob. like that nvidia countdown where they had that gay poll of which nvidia mascot was better

but it could be new gfx card and im curious to y they put the forumla d/t=v

isnt the formula for speed, distance and time v=d/t where v is the velocity, d is the displacement and t is the time? maybe not, just thought that it sounded familiar from my days in physics

yea thats what the formula means o and the d = distance btw

just put your date 12 days in advance and you will se end of the worlds, sorry world :)

Actually, velocity is a vector value... requiring a direction. Distance and time are scalar... having no specified direction. Division wouldn't produce a vector result. On the other hand, displacement is a vector... and we all know a vector divided by a scalar is a vector, right? So, if you're talking about speed it's distance (since speed is scalar)... but if you're talking about velocity it's displacement.

EDIT: Yeah, all you have to do is change your clock to see what it's counting down to...

agreed...I cant belive theyd be that stupid.. Radeon X1K...sounds pretty cool

but what if its a diversion :O its only there to fool those who forward their clocks, and they have an even better surprise in store for us

then again, maybe not

I did a google search to see if I could find anymore info on other forums about the X1k.... and I found this

According to the report, the X1300 scores up with the X700Pro in 3DMark05. (just under 3000)
While it's not much, remember that this is the entry level board and and this kind of performance for that price is very good.

Only if it's going sub-90pound or so- bear in mind the 800GT part recently released does around 3500-4000marks for under a hundred quid, and SM3.0 support won't get you far if your card is that slow to start with
