Counter Strike Help

Hi,

I have half-life generation pack with all the four games included. I reinstalled the games after restoring my HD, but after a while I realised that I lost the serial key number and I could not get in any way inside the game.

I search on the internet for a possible way and I found key generater program but its not 100% affective.

what shall I do? help please.

hoiw could you loose these keys? aren' they printed onto the cd cases?

don't use key-gens that just ruins it for other people who wasn't dumb enough to loose their CD-key.

if you need it that bad, buy a new HL-generations.... they're pretty cheap as far as I know.

I have not email them yet, and I am not willing too.

well I cannot buy another packe because of the serial key. so if there is any other way I could you, Please state it.

If your system registry was left unchanged: Press Strart -> Run. Then type "regedit"(without the "") go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve Software\, there you will find a string value(I think) named "key" - that's the serial key.

I tried it but unlucky me the value has not set. No serial key.

Why dont you email valve telling them you have lost your CD key? I knew someone who did the same and although valve were a little stubborn, after 5 or 6 emails they still sent him a new one!

If that fails you can pick up an original copy of half life for as little as 4.99 now if you look in the right place...

Yeah, just go to a used game store. I've seen Half life here for $1.50.

My mate got his Quake 3 CD-Key ripped off before he even bought it :/
