The much spoken about 'Dynamic Weapon Pricing' system being integrated into Counter Strike has officially begun as of yesterday.[br]Restart Steam as usual and the update will be applied. Another changing face of CS, for the better lets hope!

Good news.

Thank god. Now I don't have to keep switching version to play with my friends.

Good. I suppose the CS kiddies at steampowered at shitting their pants right now.

I think I read an article an hour ago about three CSS clans commiting ritual Hara Kiri because they stopped owning the enemy. D:

Bout time. I like the changes overall, it makes play slightly more interesting. Hopefully atleast some people will stop buying the ak/m4 every round and realize they have options.

Unfortunately thanks to the incredibly excessive 16k cap and lack of any expensive uber-weapons to spend it on, this change will never really have that much of an effect. The SAW is just awful for its price, and while the awp and autosnipers are good, they are restricted on most servers.

The steam forums are pretty much the darkest, or atleast highest-pitched cyst of humanity existing in the internet.

The prizes are changing really slow, though. When I played just now, only a few things had been changed. (I think it was the defusal kit.)

Takes a bit to get used to. I keep forgetting I don't need to buy ammo anymore.

I think that it only updates every Monday. ;)

I hope flashbang get priced out of most peoples budgets!! Bloody things! You spend half the game deaf & blind!

Adapt or die ^_^.

Going to play it tomorrow. i like to think this update will show who the talent players are instead of the people who use te same weapon combo all the time
I'm tired of hearing, oh talented players will be able to adapt. Change the rules drastically of any sport and see how many people are still good? I'll gaurentee you not the same that were before.
LOL what a comparison :D

yeah I keep forgetting about not needing ammo.

I think no ammo is bad though, takes away from the general feel of realness from the game a slight bit.
