couple of steam questions please answer

1. Is it possible to use a different credit card with different names to pay for games? Currently I use my dad's but i'm not going to do that forever and will eventually get my own so I wanted to know this.

2. How does steam tell which country you are in? I can't remember if I entered the country I lived in

Can I change that if I move country? (i've been planning to do that at some point in my life)

1. It doesn't matter, they don't keep your credit card info on any of their servers, its sent encrypted.
2. Steam tells which country your in when you fill out the form for the credit card info, they also can tell via your IP addy.

If that second one is true then couldn't I hypothetically get a US credit card go on holiday to the US buy some games cheaper and come back to the uk?

Also steam doesn't ask for your name during account sign up does it? Cos it mentions my dads on the billing receipt but i imgaine that's to do with the credit card
