CPU w higher multiplier or bus?

here is a basic question that still causes me confusion:
my Athlon XP can run one of two ways - which is better for the sake of 3D gaming? 166/333 x 12.5 = 2.083 or 200/400 x 10.5 = 2.100

Also on pricewatch there are 2 different 3200+ XP cpus one at 333 and one a 400. the one with the 333FSB is more?!?!? whats the deal there?

I assume both of these items are related but not sure how.

Well, the 3200+ with 333fsb has a higher clock speed.

I would run at 10.5x200 (2.1) if it's stable. More bandwidth and slightly higher core speed.
11x200 would be even better.

Generally, the higher the bus speed, the better. It means your RAM is running faster as well, which is good.
