Ok, here's the thing with time travel and why it isn't possible. Say you went back through time to say kill napolion, so time passes and you are born and everything goes the same way as it did before but this time when you wanna go and kill mapoleon you can't casue you already did that so you would have no reason to go back through time again so you don't and time goes on.

If the G-man is Gordon, why did he go to black mesa and not kill the marines who were trying to kill him? If Gordon died and they are the same person, then wouldnt the G-Man not exist (as Gordon hasn't had a chance to reach that point in his life)

Unless parallel universes come into play, which does kinda explain why you couldnt kill the G-Man, because your bullets couldnt get into his dimension......
