CrazyHarij's "artwork" stuff

That all looks extremely kickass. Since you have colour and lighting down mega-solid, my main concern at this point would be putting a bit more time into evening out the sketchier bits, like the ground in that battle scene.

Thanks a ton for the comments, guys. :)

Mecha: Thanks, yeah, I'm trying to work on that, putting down more work and time on each piece.

Though, saying I have colour and lighting down megasolid is definitely an overstatement of astronomical proportions.. :P

Jimmeh: Thanks, yeah I was pretty satisfied with that image when I made it. I'm thinking about doing something similar again but with more defined edges, details and proper lighting.

A little sketch I just made, think it came out like crap, was more of an experiment with light than anything else I suppose: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v730/CrazyHarij/skyscrapers.jpg
Would like to spend more time on it but I need some sleep.

Cool stuff. You should do more pencil stuff over photoshop stuff though.

I'm all for photoshop, but freehand pencil sketches can be ****ing fantastic.

Neat, Harij. The Scetches looked poor at first, but the paintings are great. :)

I do not care for the one titled "male study" ha ha ha

but anyways, very nice job

wow those are great! espcially the paintings, did u use a tablet? if so, what one please?

You got talent man :)

Thanks guys :)

Awesome again m8!

What tablet you use? im looking into getting one.

Thanks :)

I'm using a tiny shitass wacom volito. Wacom's good but seriously, don't get a volito.

I'm looking into getting an intuos 3 eventually, it's what most recommend these days.

Great work, dancing Wookie! I like this art called cathedral, very nice picture.
Are you student of some art school?

Really playing with colors in this one, turned out pretty nice, don't you think?

Turned out fricking awesome. You're such a great painter.

Oh, and

Wow, that last pic is great. That's something I suck at, using colours - you seem to have it nailed on the head pretty damn good! :D

This is great. Love the poses, especially on vysketch01. The quick gestures are great practice. Colors on the shark are brilliant, and that nude woman has some great lighting. Looks like you need to work on refining your art though. From line-art to the coloring. You're working on poses right now, which is awesome, but try to be more confident with your lines. Clean up!

With your colors, I'd say the best thing you can do is simplify. Simplifying the colors by flattening them will instantly make them look better, some textures work better for being extremely blended, but skin tones for example (did a really good job on the nude study's body) generally don't reflect all that much light. But damn, you've got the poses in great shape. Good work.

They're all great, but i really want to see a proper finished one. These are all great but they all have this sketchy quality to them. Just irritates me is all.

It's interesting how you can play with colors to get a certain message through. They really have a powerful impact emotion-wise.

Tried limiting the warm and saturated colors to the protagonist soldiers, surrounding them with colder and desaturated colors and shadows to emphasize on the idea of them being in a hostile, and dangerous environment.
