Yes I noticed and APPRECIATED this. It felt a lot better using it, even though damage was the same I was more likely to choose it to blast away at enemies. Just the feeling of beefyness.

Bah humbug. My crossbow has gone back to being shiny again. Arg.

EDIT: Fixed it. XD But In doing so I lost the reflective scope. But it still looks and fires different. /me refuses to budge

I think Valve is just making small improvements little by little. I'll post pics of the crossbow when I get home, too.
