anybody else got some cool crossbow kills.

here are three of mine.


i had one more that was cool, i crossbowed the guys hand to the wall and he was dangling, but i forgot to take a screenshot. :(
 
I do a fair few good one, but I'm always to busy killing the next guy to take a screenshot. I spend more time trying to clear out dumb crossbow campers from the top of buildings and stuff.

BTW, nice kills
 
lol... it's always funny wen you get a good one... shame you dont usually get time to screen it.

I was playing the HL2 version of bounce the other day. This guy jumped off one of the pads - only to be impaled by me into a wall half way across the map. Too bad I didn't get a screen. It was an awesome frag. :hmph:
 
Nice pic splinter_cell! You must of caught him in mid-air.
 
I find the crossbow great, if you predict right you will hit like 80% of time.

Just had to add this one...we were painting the walls then someone put up the lesbian pic and all hell broke lose! It's fun to throw paint at people..they get covered in it as so:

WYSIWYG, are you a member of LPQD?

Because 2 of the members names are featured in those screens.
 
I once took out all five people on the roof of overwatch with five consecutive hits. No screen though. :/
 
For extra fun with cross-bow impalements, be sure to turn "cl_ragdollcollide" to "1".

Impaling is great, but I get way more of a kick from shooting at the ground right in front of someone so that the bolt bounces off the ground up into them and sends them flying up through the air.

And nailing someone in the face right as they come around a corner makes me laugh EVERY TIME. I love the crossbow.

I didn't get a screen...
But it was such a sweet moment...
I didn't realize you could shoot the crossbow through people.
Well, these 4 guys were just, for some reason, running a semi-straight line down the halls...I'm just running around aimlessly.
We spot eachother, there's a brief pause...
BANG! I fire the bolt and it nailed all four of them into a wall!
Everyone was like "WTF!?"...
Ah it was a great moment...I could blown up by an RPG afterwards.
 
And another time to fake this up. You can't tell me that this screenshots were made on a public server. I think this screens were made on lan and they are seemed to be posed.
But they are really nice.:)

this really isnt an interesting pose, but its an interesting little story.

last night in lockdown i had the crossbow and i was on the little platform outside of the "control room" area. (its kinda like a bridge that you cross when leaving the control room, headed for the showers area)

so i was on that bridge, and a guy popped around the corner
i shot at him, missed and pinned another guy accross the map.

i shot again, missed and pinned a guy coming out of the door to that really long hallway

i shot again, missed and pinned a third guy that was charging up in the control room

i shot again, missed and pinned a guy to the floor on the level below me

finally my last shot hit the guy i was aiming at.

5 kills in a row, four were accidental. :lol:
 
nice pics matey,in the last one the combine looks pissed.Always knew coppers cant handle their drink :x

btw i havent tried that ragdoll collide console command yet,does it stick people all the time with the x-bow.
 
hahaha looks like the super combine is peeing at the wall in the 7:th picture
 
i was so happy when i managed to get pinned to the outside of the tower in watergate by my groin area.

I got tons of crossbow kills earlier today. It was a server full of people who didn't strafe much. Unfortunately, I didn't get any screenies.
 
lol nice one munky.Reminds me of starship troopers when the captain pins the soldiers hand to wall.
 
The book was a gajillion times better than the movie. Robert A. Heinlein rules.

And there was no hand-pinning in the book. Although the sergeant did break the arms of at least three rookies on the first day.
 
Heres one i got today.took him of the box and pinned him to the wall..
