Crossfire Benchmarks

Why is the 7800 GTX SLI above the crossfire in every benchmark? The only crossfire setup that might beat it is that R520 or w/e

Looking good. Can't wait to see it with the R520.

simply because the 7800 is Nvidia's next gen card, and the X8 series is not ATI's nextgen card, that's the R520, which should trash the 7800

Why is everybody going "the r520 is going to trash the ****ing 7800!!!!1!!!!!1"? Are they ATI fanboys that are so stupid as to trash NVIDIA because they think that liking something makes it better?

I see it as both cards are going to be equal. Both are each companies next gen offering, and just because ATI spends an extra month on theirs doesn't mean they're going to get a 10,000 3Dmark boost.

And I believe that both ATI and NVIDIA are equal in the global scope of things. Both companies have their pros and cons. Like if you're spending money on a low end card, they ATI all the way. If you're going for a high end card, NVIDIA's 6800gt is a good way to go if you're not looking to burn your wallet. If you've got cash to spend, then get an x850 xt pe

I say it's a never ending battle, one will beat the other for a lil, then the other will take the lead, but both will render graphics approx. the same way. ATI was in the lead forever during the FX series of nvidia cards, but now nvidia is in the lead

i feel, the r520 core will be more effectiv after theyve ironed out driver issues that are always common on release month and once that is running smooth utilkising the new arhcitecture effectivly it will beat the 7800

See, I see where YOU'RE comming from. What you said actually made sense.

Unlike "OMFG ATI WILL FUXORz GAYFORCE 7800 WIt %R552)"

There is no point making a decision on what is goign to be better as Ati havent had a proper chance to show case there new cards or Crossfire with decent drivers. We will have to wait till its released with reviews that are fair tests.

Yeah these are no more buggy then when Nvidia actually came to market with their SLI. And this isn't in the market yet.
