After realizing that my PC barely makes system req. I just went out and bought TES4 : O.

I sure hope it works. I'll keep you updated.

Don't go moaning if it won't run. Seen enough of those topics on the ES4 forums. :)

It is worth it though, thats if it does run.

Is it okay if I cross my toes so I can type at the same time?

****. It runs, and the framereate is barely playable, but it won't be in more graphically intense areas. I guess it gets shelved until I can afford an new graphics card. moanmoanmoanmoanmoan

Same thing happened to me, except I am getting a whole new computer and new graphics card.

will my geforce fx 5200 be able to run it i ahve a 2.4 ghz comp and i think i have 512mb of ram im goona get more ram and a new grapghics card for when ut2k7 comes out but for now will my comp be able to run ?

Yes.

It's... : D backwards to resemble the opposite reation.

: D - Very happy.

D: - Very sad.

When there are alot of object on screen (In shops, alot of chars on screen ect.) mine goes about 8 fps, and I still play it, because outside it goes 40-50 fps outside, but most of the time if it's lagging alot, like when I'm stealing in a cluttered house, I just keep playing and ignore the 3-5 fps.. I am getting more ram and graphics card soon... this game will be amazing with high graphics.

Nope. A new card isn't going to do you much good without a lot more ram. Also, you won't be able to install a really good card because you probably have an older motherboard.

I think I'm going to save up a few grand and buy a dream machine that will last a few years before it needs upgrading

I have seen a ton of stuff on tweaks for older cards on the elder scrolls fourms. Some people have managed to get it to run pretty nice, I'm not sure if you would want to bother though. It would probably be more fun to wait and play it when you can see it at its best anyway.

Because of your specs I'm guessing your PC is 2-3 years old....

just got it like in the summer :S

how do i figure out if my mother board is old does it matter if its a amd 64 athlon?

First you've got to tell us exactly what processor you have. The clock speed alone won't cut it.

The graphics are amazing if you have a good enough PC to handle it. If not, that's what Xbox 360's are for.

DOES AMD 64 NOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION????? that means that his motherboard is around 1-2 years old

Hey, I have an idea. Instead of yelling at me, how about you channel that genius into actually answering his question?

*sigh* you cant read very well

At first I thought he was asking if the AMD 64 Athlon would work. So I forgive Narcolepsy. Some punctuation might have helped. ;)

If you have a 5200 then he has an AGP mobo. The processor should be great, but if you want the best performing card, you want a PCI-E card, instead of a AGP. But I think you can still get a 7*** card in AGP. The 7600 maybe?

And if you put another 512 megs of ram in there, you will be well off. Medium graphics at a good steady framerate.
