I think one of the zombies makes that noise. I was actually sure it's the Poison Zombie but as there aren't any of those in Lowlife, that kind of rules it out.

this is random....but....how do u get the stalker away from alyx on the train? I did it once and dont know what i did....and after listening to that thing scream for 10 minutes, you get kinda annoyed very quickly......the G- gun doesnt seem to do anything.......

Go behind the stalker and use the gravity gun to pull it away so Alyx can go up a bit.
