Reminds me a bit of Penumbra with some hand to hand combat. The Wiki is short on details:

Year 1968. Arctic Circle, Russian North Pole station "Pole 21". The main hero Alexander Nesterov is a meteorologist caught inside an old nuclear ice-breaker North Wind, frozen in the ice desert many years ago. This steel creature once fought for its life and freedom, but it has fallen into an ice trap and all the creatures onboard lost not only their natural look, but a right to die. Cryostasis is a dramatic story about a a Captain and his Ship evolving in the atmosphere of animalistic fear.

The game story develops with help of a unique system called Mental Echo - the ability to penetrate another character's memory and change the actions taken by that character in the past. Developers claim that highly detailed levels will provide the player with more than just thrilling gameplay. More than 15 fear-inducing enemies with unique capabilities, 7 NPC's which will help to reveal the story, and 8 historically-authentic types of weapons

Anyways, I don't know how this reminds you of Penumbra.. It's in the Arctic (Penumbra in Greenland), that's about it.. And it's sort of adventure-like like Penumbra

Either way, looks like cold Condemned with a small, small bit of Penumbra, I'm looking forward to it.

EDIT: Actually reminds me more of Bioshock for adventure/a little bit of the combat, then Penumbra..

Yeah, definitely reminds me of Penumbra and Bioshock. Not that that's a bad thing. The game itself doesn't look particularly intriguing to me though.

The beginning part mostly, and the creepiness. But yeah, I agree with the Bioshock comparison as well.

Indeed. Same feeling, at first glance. The fact is that Penumbra is an adventure game, while this one seems to have some action flavour. When it comes to adventure games I am a purist, so Penumbra still stays as a unique specimen.

Yup, Penumbra mixed with Bioshock. Good times if that is the case. The sound was really nice.
