Looks like Crysis 2 is becoming a generic 'modern war' game with generic graphics and a generic setting, after the terrible sales of Crysis 1.
Shame, Crysis was the only game of it's kind

The new cryengine is worse than the one before. You can look up comparison vids on youtube. Basically they downgraded it so it could run smoothly on consoles. So yeah, crytek is basically giving in to the pressure. Make generic shit looking avarage shooter games to please the casualfags on consoles = PROFIT PROFIT PROFIT.

Hm, of course the console builds will look less impressive, but that's a hardware problem. There's not a lot to suggest Crytek haven't improved Cry2 for high-end hardware. 'Course that's kindof irrelevant because there's still not a lot out there that touches their tech

I did, and fully enjoyed it. Got it at a reduced price, but still...

I did, however, play the SP campagin and found it entertaining enough.
