Crysis will NOT appear on Xbox 360

I tried to like it, but I just couldn't....

Guess I'm more of a run and gun/cover person.

You get to shoot Koreans. :E

You could murder my family and I'd still think you were awesome for posting that.

Absinthe - even if gameplay mechanics aren't new and unique, the immersion factor is going to be amazing. Personally I don't care what buttons I hit or what stupid puzzles I have to solve. Video games don't stimulate your brain activity anyway, so that type of shit is obsolete. On the other hand, if I'm immersed, I'm having fun.

Completely agree!

We'll see... But although I do admit that visuals play a large part in immersion, it is not the sole factor.

As for games not stimulating brain activity, that's arguable. While I don't have any sources on hand, I distinctly remember reading numerous articles that stated that due to the nature and complexity of modern gaming, younger players essentially can train their minds when it comes to problem solving and (in the case of multiplayer gaming) group coordination. Video games are stimuli, and while you will probably never have to figure out how to kill a 20-foot demon/alien in the real world, the very exercising of these mental facilities can expand and hone them.

Shit, any competent guild leader in an MMO is qualified for managerial positions IMO.

I'm looking forward to it. I think it looks pretty good, the physics/game engine will make for an immersive experience, and it has the classic "invading aliens must be stopped" storyline that is the foundation of any classic FPS. As much as this theme has been done to death, I can't get enough. Covenant, demons, Strogg, Combine, Keepers, Locust Horde, Vortigaunts, Predators, Mental... bring the freezers of the Korean penninsula! I also don't think a frozen jungle has been done before, and I'm interested to see how it behaves.
