where can you get CS: BeTA?, i heard another member talking about it. again, I have just started following the whole half life prodigy, so give me a break if that seems like a stupid question. thanks. :thumbs:

you have to either have an ati card which came with a voucher for HL2 for free, or own counter-strike: condition zero.

once it stops being beta, youll have to use your voucher or buy it online.... which could be as soon as today.

You register the cd-key with Steam and you would be able to play CS:S.
But don't bother, the beta is probably ending this week (started in august).

You can go on ebay and buy an ati voucher for around 40 dollars or so, that will give you access to the beta and also the bronze package which will include counter strike source and half life 2 when they come out that is. Or if you can wait a day or two, Counter strike source IS rumored to come out today if you preorder hl2 from steam that is. So don't buy condition zero because if css came out today then the beta would end and you would be out 30 dollars so your options are
1.buy ati voucher off of ebay
2.pre-order hl2 off of steam sometime this weak.

Well the fact that css comes out today is a rumor and speculation but the fact the css comes out this week is not. Valve announced that css comes out this week last week on september 28. Seven days later would be today.
