Oh, and all the physics objects can be removed using a single server command.

The map can have pipes running from walls etc. (Fixtures of a map)
I stopped playing CSS a long time ago because of this, I got stuck between a bench, and some weird pipes (which weren't in 1.6)

I can see why you want to re-create it, but I don't think many people would take interest into it.

Practically everyone who plays 1.6 seriously is looking for somewhere to go, because they got the notion that 1.6 is dying (even though it's still far ahead of css, leagues are dropping it).

The csp steam group says alot though, having more members than any group. And the amount of money they made from donations, also all the leagues / teams backing it. There's alot of interest but it's still pre-release so who knows
 
1.6 = AK and Deagle just dont work period. You shoot a whole clip of de at a wall and not one shot goes in the x-hairs. 1.5 was where it was at with CS, its the best version I have played and had a great time playing it in halls at uni a few years back.

I do like the game play in source but i dont like the maps/physics objects. The origanal cs maps seemed extensivly planed, a box or door just in the right place that would alow you to see one thing or another. Lots of that was taken away in source for the graphical improvments. The physics objects are just a pain. Bouncing off barrels :@

But the weapons in source really worked well, they all felt as if they shot where you where aiming and did a decent amount of damage.

I want to see 1.6 maps with css weapons (that shoot through walls with some decent damage on the other side)
