CS resolutions

San Antonio! we have a problem! 800x600, 1200x900 and 16x12 all are 4:3 ratio. now at 800 and 16, i see the spash screen for CS its ****ing clear as chrystal but at 12x9 its not even though its 4:3 its displaying as if its some odd res like 11x7 or x8 WHY!!!

8x6 is to big and 16x12 is to small,

i washoping to do 12x9 which might have been perfect but the splash screen is not as clear as the other 2 4:3s. WHY OHH WHY!!!

another monitor problem i have is i went from 11x res to 1290x684 res,

but the problem is anything i do, i have these grills on all 4 corners of my screen in any game or even desktop, 85 hrz, they look like i dont know its like grills, as if 1 overlapping circle going over the other one, so u see the outlines to each circle. forming a girl shape patern.

any ideas?
