CS:S First thoughts!

people are forgetting that they are really paying 60 bucks for hl2, cs: s, DoD:S, and HL:S, not to mention all the other older games. 60 bucks well spent. Lay off it ok? CS:S will no doubt be updated a lot, just as the first was, and as soon as the sdk comes out, we can expect at least a few good maps out of that.

Alright i have a question... Is this going to be actually worth 60 dollars. I mean, c'mon. It sounds like this is the beta with some extra maps, wtf good is that? I just want to know if i should actually risk getting it by FILE and not CD. What happens if my hard-drive crashes and i loose files? hmm??? Viruses??? Like most of you, i want a taste of hl2 but is it really worth it?

Yeah its worth it, when you get hl2 in a month or 2 you will truly know that it is worth it, as far as css goes, yeah it is still in beta but the maps are very nicely revamped and soo fun to play. You can always just copy the gcf files to dvd or cd and that will be a back up of everything that you dl or preloaded. So spend the 50 bucks, have some fun, you only live once and its only 50 bucks, even if for some crzy reason you dont like css, there is always hl2 in a bit. See you on the shooting field mate.

Considering 60% of the population are compete morons I am never suprised when someone quotes *number of players* for how popular a game is.

So what if there are more CS servers and players. Doesn't mean it's a good game. It just means it's a deverse game.

CS is forever imortalized by the jerks who take it too seriously and the children ready to hack it. One feeds off the other and it fuels the ignorance of online gaming.

Have your CSs for all I care. Twitch gaming is for spastic hyperactive pimple-faced losers anyway. If only they had made gameplay changes people would be left so upset.

At least I know the difference between "your" and "you're"...and utterly. Also, our good friend the apostrophe is a nice tool to use from time to time. Let's not forget Mr. fragment sentence, either.
