LoL already got most of these skins (and in my opion the best ones )
Its proberly better just to search on teh web for stuff you like than get a load of stuuf when you might not like half of it

Valve spent a long time finely tuning everything. Chances are, the skins are going to make things worse thanks to a lack of research and practice.

I don't see what you are talking about. They are just a couple of skins, sounds, and other little VISUAL "enhancements" I suppose, not changes to the way the entire game works.

Also, I'm 100% sure that Valve expected user created content like this.

I'm saying that the Valve models are invaribly more lovingly crafted. I would prefer a beautifully modelled AK-47 than one that doesn't really have much relevance, or crappy textures.

Just don't listen to me next time

Speaking of that, I think the newspost should have had a mention of this text:
"We were very carefull in trying to obtain permission from everyone to use their creations in this pack. It is possible that we were not able to contact some of the creators for this pack. We at PAF are commited to making sure that all of the wonderful artists that made the things in this pack are properly recognized and given credit for their work. By no means is PAF taking credit for any file in this pack not otherwise specified in the credits below. There are some custom created content exclusive to this pack and that is all listed with the rest of the credits."

Edit: Oh, yeah. Quit your whining about this pack; there are obviously people that like at least some of the content, so I say let them use it. Noone cares if you say the skins are lame and question why anyone would want to use them.

WTF are you talking about, there are a lot of skins that are infenatly better than the originals, the CS1.6 skins I have installed looked way better then the CS:s source original skins of valve. Imagine how the css custom skins look :O

they are good,but not that great that i wanna play with them, the advert is not cool, the deagle skin is gay,looks like it was made by vans, and the kreig looks like the one from 1.6 and then the 3rd person is the one from source.

Testing?

I tried this skin pack and love it, but as someone said earlier, they haven't done much testing. Office works great but when i load in dust or italy i crash. Is this common with other users or is it just me?

I installed and i dont crash, I replaced the player models and the deagle model and the m249. I got laser deagle lol. I think the mk skin is the most impressive, along with the glock. The included sounds just make the guns sound more powerful.

I got in trouble for posting this in the off topic thread so i'll post it here.

Shortly after we released this pack our files site went down and had to be completely rebuilt with a different upload/download system.

I just wanted to let people know the site is back up and the pack can be downloaded there.
