I'm quite sure of it because when Valve says next week it means Friday since its the last working day of the week. Belive me, sorry don't have any source but myself

When they said "next week", they could be talking about sometime in the week after the one we're in, hense 8-14 days,. you dont know,. but really, when it comes down to it, most of the time VALVe doesnt even know untill its totally ready.

It could just as easily be released today or a week from today.

I just explained. The week we're in,. THIS week, can be considered to be today and the following six days. Therefore, NEXT week would be the seven days after that. (ok, so 7-13 days)

There were a dozen polls about it, and yeah friday was the choice of the majority so nothing new here, you could have just posted in one of those threads that you felt strongly about friday :|

And your thread title isn't right, it's misleading. You should have put a question mark in this case.

hehe I know what you mean but as I said, they said it at the beginning of last week which means it should be released this week.

Well you might be right, but I KNOW the whole thruth about HL2/CS:S anyway.

CS:S wont be released until I have upgraded to broadband as I have been stuck on a 56k all my life. Now they are activating my line in the next 4 days, so the maximum it will be released is in 4 days.

Why do you think HL2 was delayed for a year? Because I didnt have broadband then! Gabe said he would delay it just for me.

Nice 1 pingu, good to see that some people are keeping it real and not letting a game release date destroy their lifes.

Judging by how some people are going crazy for HL2 to be released, i think it's getting a litte sad.

Personally i'm looking forward to getting my new GSXR 1000, it's costing me £8000 so i have a reason to be crazed, or my new house that i'm about to get the keys to.

Yes i'm exited about HL2, but some of you need to calm down a bit.... It's only a game. It Won't change your life and it won't make your life better.

It's out when it's out.
