Its just the background extracted from the GCF put into the old leak and 2 maps called de_dust and the other put map.

emporio is some hl2 leak recourse

why are ppl saying its a waste of time to preload it now? wouldnt that mean that all u need to do is download the extra files from steam when they release it? so what diff does it make if you preload it now rather than when they officially let ppl preload it. (other than valve banning ppl ect)

How do i play the beta. I have the GCF file [dled it off here].

To participate in the beta you need to either own a copy of Counter-Strike Condition Zero or have a HL2 ATI voucher, If you have neither of those you can't play the beta. Eventhough you have the GCF, you can't do anything with it untill the 18th.

Why? Do I hate Valve? No, it's so that Valve can only improve their security technology and adapt accordingly. It'd be much better to find a leak now during a BETA than later during an official release(Doom 3 anyone?)
However, knowing their current security precautions and knowing their history with STEAM products (security above ease of use ^_^), I'd find you guys having any success without one of the three prerequisites to be very unlikely.
