"CS: Source" to ship with HL2!!

Yes its true Its confirmed on a E3 video on a swedish site i can not link to cuz u have to be a member to download. There most likely will be not be any huge new updates in CS2 just visual ones..big visual ones!

sorry it said that on my site..but when i saw the vid i realized Gabe said they would not call it CS2. But the CS vocie said Counter-Strike Source..is that the new name?

Its proberly just the new name. In that video they are actually playing with bots and tbh it all looks scripted. I think they just ported the code from cs to source made some models and made a new map (about 1/2 weeks work) added old cs sounds as well as mixing them with hl sounds and models and just obviasly made a video. I think its an example of what things are to come. Nothing more really.

:| Unfortunately, the Half Life 2 multiplayer is CS:S(Counter Strike: Source), it just shows how they are lazy bastids! No, i'm kidding, if Valve were create a totally new multiplayer we'd probably have to wait another 10 months for the release. So they just added source to regular CS, so that you elite CS players wont be mad and obviously we cannot wait any longer for HL2.

I was under the impresion that he said that CS source would be sold seperatly at a low price or for free. Not that it was HL2's actual multiplayer.

I think cs:s is somthing different from cs:2.

I think hl2 will come with TFC:S mayb CS:S and somthing elce which they are hiding away. I think it will be annoying if we will have to pay for CS:S as its just a mod :/ but i supose they have made it somthing more then just a mod now. we will see

If I heard in a E3 2004 video they said they would call it Counter Strike not CS2 bud.
