CS1.6 Sheilds SUCK!

OK I just got out of a CS server and the entire CT team would line up and charge with sheilds. It was funny at first but after about 10 times in a row it got old. The sheild is a good idea but making it a tank isn't they should make it more realistic. Meaning it has a power limit and after being hit so many times it's useless or being shot with an AWP. Sorry about bitching just needed to get that out. :flame:

well the challenge with the shields will be to shoot them from behind instead. Just take people a while to get used to it, atleast in HL2 if their still around in a CS mod in the source engine. You'll be able to throw rocks and other projectiles at them, just like people do in riots. Shields don't seem to protect the police much considering the amount of complaining they do about injuries after a riot

why not throw grenades behind the wall of shields, blow their tushes off

heh that just gave me an idea for a roman army mod.. bunch of romans running up a hill with their shields, roll a few boulders down at them

Heheh, so many people compain about those shields. Personaly I dont really mind. And its a challenge. Flashbangs work great cos they cant even spray and pray with the crapy pistols they buy.


And If your really that annoyed by it go to a None Shield server. Or simply join the CT team

Ahh, such simple answers to such simple problems.

HEs work pretty well, since they can't run that fast.

P90's I think are armor pearcing. I think they go through... at least they did when used on me.

FiveseveN has same effect, but it sucks too much.

Might be mistaken by the armor percing stuff.

Ah, people get so annoyed when they find new things they can't beat. You just need to work round it, most of the time I just run round to the side and blow them away:cheese: . HEs work well of course. Didn't know about that armour piercing stuff though, I'll try that out!

I find when I no-zoom with the awp I often get headshots on people with shields..it's...weird.

I see no reason for this, as CAL has banned the shield until it's bug free.. unless they're boycotting due to the LAN charges, or something stupid
