cs_assault - where is it?

Just wondering... anybody know about a source version of cs_assault? Quite frankly, I'm pretty disappointed that such a popular counter strike map hasn't been produced yet. I mean after dust, aztec and italy, there was assault. Why has it seemed to have been forgotten?

There is so much demand for this map that I wouldn't be surprised if they make it after port. I know there's a few user made ones, but no word on anything official.

I would love for assault to be officialy remade. Before hl2/css was released, the only game I played was cs, the map I played the most was assault, due to it being a good challenge when going ct, and a frag fest as t. Come on Valve, please remake assault.

There already is CS_assault. But I couldn't download from the server since it takes forever to download it.

I hope they change it if it's remade, it really is a terrible map gameplay wise. But it's old school so I can see the sentimental attachments some may have to it.

yeah it is a pretty terrible map. If you want an excellent port check out the new ZT_assault. Its at hl2 world if you wanna check it out
