It's most likely a commnad line program. That is, you atually have to type in stuff to use it (or use a batch file one you've figuread out the process).

Open a dos prompt and try running it. Good way to do this, if you're too young to remeber all those dos commands: ;)

Browse to the directory where the exe file is.
Go to the address, or path, bar at the top of your windows explorer.
Copy everything in it.
Open a command prompt window through one of two ways:
--- Start Button > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
--- Open the Run box and enter cmd (on most recent windows versions)
once it's open, type cd (followed by a space) and right click. It will either paste immediately or you can select paste from the pop-up.
Press enter and it will go to that directory.
Type the name of the program. (i.e., for runme.exe, type runme and press enter) It will probably show instructions for using the program. ?If not, try <program name> /? or <program name> --help
One of those usually gives instructions.

Read and try to understand the instructions. If there still are none, try RTFM. =)

i remember the old DOS games yeah but windows spoiled me.. ile look for one w/ a display
