CSS Closes Itself

Everytime i try and change the advanced video settings in CSS, i'll click okay, and CSS will just close without saving the changes... It happens both when i'm trying to increase the settings and lower them. Any idea why..? (I'd tell you what video card i was using, but its some pos non-name brand so it really wouldn't help any)

shouldn't this is in Counter-Strike: Source < Help & Support? But anyway, it should close and restart it self, when you change a video option. For your problem not saving the video options, if you know that video cvars, then you could put the command(for the option) in autoexec.cfg.

IIRC, don't you have a DX6 card? That probably explains why.
