CSS Spray Help

Hi all.

I hope I have the right forum here. Not sure if it should be CSS or this, but I figure "Help Wanted" is close enough...

I've been trying to get my avatar (see left) converted into some kind of CS spray, but I cant for the life of me get it right. I cant get it to spray in colour AND with a transparent background at the same time.

Can anyone convert the file to a css spray for me? I think its beyong my graphics abilities.

I was trying to add "miceless" under it, in red, too. Though this would be nice, a straight conversion would do (i.e. without text).

Im afraid all I can offer in return is my eternal gratitude.

Hoping some kind soul will help...

Edit: Woh, this forum doesn't seem to like my avatar. Its made a mess of the background. It should look like this:

wrong place, this is help wanted, as in help wanted ads, :) would go in the general editting section tbh, since i bet there's loads of these type of threads there already :)

well np, someone will move it for u ;)

Hmmm, isn't the above a help wanted ad? Sortof, surely?

Oh well. If it needs to be moved, can someone move it please. Saves a double post...

i think it qualifies as help and wanted but if not maybe models and textures

ok, it should be pretty easy, just have a common image type such as jpeg or bmp, then put it somewhere on your desktop or somewhere you won't forget where it is, then play CS:S then go to options then you should see your current spray then a button that says import spray click on that then navigate to the place where you put your spray, good luck!

umm not i think u have to convert it into a .vtf. put it in source sdk content \ cstrike\ materials and then open up sourcesdk\bin drag the image over vtex then it will create a txt file next your image. make sure the image is .tga btw. then drag them both over vtex and it will make the vtf file in conterstrike\materials. also you need to make an alpha map in photoshop using the normal image as a reference.

I made a tutorial on my site for transparent sprays. You will need to create an alpha channel. On this channel, paint everything WHITE that you want to appear in the game. Anything painted BLACK will be invisible (paint your background black).

Do you have photoshop?

And to clarify, no, this is not the correct forum. This is for help required/offered for modifications and so forth. You should have posted in Community Game Support, third forum listed.

And welcome to the forums :)
