If you're a CT and you've shot the bomber, bomb is on the ground, no other Ts around, is it OK to take cover and camp, and pick the Ts off as they come to get it?
I've seen people get flamed for doing it, though it makes sense to me for a few reasons.
- It makes tactical sense if you're a CT, especially if you're largely outnumbered by the remaining Ts.
- The Ts job is to get the bomb to the site and plant it. If they let the bomber get isolated and killed, that's a mistake on their part. They shouldn't start complaining about CTs who take advantage of their error.
- When the Ts plant the bomb, they camp and defend it. Makes it very hard for the CTs to get in and defuse. So why shouldn't the CTs take the opportunity to do the same when they can?
And it's not like you're camping somewhere to avoid being killed, on the off-chance a T will go running past. You know they have to come - they can't win without getting either the bomb or you.
I know everyone's going to have different views on this, just curious.
