Custom Avatars

I know it's possible to do custom avatars in these forums, but I can't seem to find an "upload" button anywhere! I looked in the avatars section of the user control-panel, and it only allowed me to select bewteen the HL2 one which wouldn't even load, and none at all. So, how do I load a custom avatar?

It was possible to do it. You'll just have to be patient until tomorrow when the upload avatar feature is re added to the new forums.

Ah. this was my first attempt at it, and the forums seemed to be fully implemented. Sorry if I seemed impatient. Spiffy forums btw. vBulletin rocks : )

I hate this design but all of the new features are sexy. Most of them you guys won't appreciate but us MODs are quite excited about them.

why are there two post reply buttons?

Im guessing because if the first guy writes a mega long post then its easier to click on the big one then scroll down and click on the reply button.

One is for normal reply, one is for quick reply, useful on big threads, then if you click quote message in reply? it'll add the post your reply to if you do the above. It wont show it in your quick reply box though, you'll just need to trust it worked.

The blue reply button is for quoting someone. The orange one is for if you just want to make a more general comment.
I think that's how it works.

Hmm yeah it should, but i think Munro is gonna update the pics soon (as you can see the blue ones are still from the old UI.

Good motto. Quotage is nice. Who needs a blue button when you have quickquote?
