Custom textures

oki i found some awsome textures to hl2 on the web.....iam using them in one of my maps and now i wonder...if´I go to we say a LAN and we play my map but its only me having the textures what hapend?? are they downloading the textures as the download the map?

i dont know too much about what your talking about, but if they don't see the textures, I'd guess they are not being downloaded with the map. Just download the textures seperately onto their computers into the required folders and give it a try. sry if this is no help

have you assigned the target in the .vtf file? because thats essentially what the game points at. So fix that then it should download with the map.
