Hey, i recently was going to build my own computer with parts from newegg... but i was checking out other websites when i found Cyberpowersystem.com. I was messing around customizeing my own PC when i realized that i can get close to the same thing at newegg, (in seperate parts) at cyberpower for $30-$80 more and i get it built for me..

I just wanted to know if anyone knows much about cyberpower, like reliabilty and such so i can tell if its worth the extra money. (BTW I have never built a PC before, nor do i have any clue how to... i was just going to use site tutorials to build it so id rather have it pre-built lol)

Also anything in pirticular i should *LOOK OUT FOR* when buying computers pre-built or even just from cyberpower would be good to know, thanks again!

If ever buy a Radeon 9800 Pro look for the bit memory, theres a few 128bit ones floating around at about $160, and some people think its just a really cheap 256.
Just look for some benchmarks and reviews on parts your going to buy before anything.

I've never heard of those people, so they don't sound very reputable, but they could be.

Heh, i built my first computer off cyberpowersystem.com it was fine.

The only bad part is the two weeks you must wait for it to ship.

They're who I'm going to go through to get my new comp in a few months.

Since they have to build it and test it whatever it was a while to wait.

Unlike newegg i guess, which would just send all the parts over to you in like 3 days.

I've bought two configured comps from cyber power. I think they are a good choice to go to for getting one built. I have had situatiosn where I had to return a vid card that got fried or something, and a bad hard drive too, they exchanged them for me.

bottom line is I've had a couple of good experiences purchasing comps from them and I would recomend them.

They are pretty good. Save you the trouble of building it and it isn't like buying from Dell or a HP PC, which is very good. No preloaded software etc.

Although most who know how to build a PC don't order prebuilt. Personally, I just don't like some of the cases they use in their packages.

i could care less about my case (no offense intended lol) i just hope that i wont have to go through a ton of trouble replaceing paarts but i guess thats just a matter of chance :/ btw, if i order windows xp with the system, do they INSTALL windows xp??

I also custumized my pc on there site and phoned in the order and it was awsome when it came. built and everything they do a series of test to make sure everything is fine.

Remember shipping costs.

I find it more fun to build a computer than to buy one. Personal preference I guess.
