CZ:S and CS:S

What will the owners of CZ:S get that te CS:S players wount?
I dont hope CS:S players can play on the same maps as CZ:S players.
Will it be the same as it is now? CZ:S maps more detailed than CS:S maps?Will CZ:S playerd get more patches/updates?

And what are these differences now for CS and CZ(exept for a little better gfx)?

wouldn't make that much sense - the multiplayer at least. What is CZ else then better GFX and redone maps. CS:S provides both...

It would have been kinda dumb to have the CS:S beta only for CZ players, and not make a CZ:Z.
Think about all the players who bought CZ just for the beta.

IN that case, explain what CZ:Source will consist of. Enhanced maps, models and textures? Above and beyond that of CS:S?

The only reasonable way they could do a CZ:S is if they just ported the mission stuff across and threw the CS:S maps in.

The main problem is brand dilution. There'd be CS (retail and mod), CS:CZ, CS:S, and CZ:S, all incompatible. Utterly pointless.

I think you've all taken the CZ:S thing out of proportion. By CZ:S I assume they mean the Tour of Duty singleplayer game and/or the deleted scenes.

The CSS versions of maps already look like CZ ports rather than CS ports.

Just look at CSS aztec, it’s practically the same as the CZ version.

You gotta remember though that theres a load more official cz maps than there are of cs1.6. fingers crossed they'll be updating them as well.

CZ:S will most likely include bots and those little challenges to do. I'm sure the maps and graphics will be identical to CS:S. They might port and redo the deleted scenes, I don't know. There will probably be just one multiplayer version.

I am sick of these million different versions of CS, I hope CS:S will heral a new era where every CS player who has the ability to upgrade plays the same version: CS:Source.

CS:S is a direct port of the current CZ spec. And I'm guessing that is all it will ever be

CZ:S will be the continuation tweaking that we're already seeing is taking place in CZ but not CS.

No, they said CS:S will be a direct port at first, but they will be making changes to it as time goes on.

EDIT: If CZ:S is a new, better attempt at CS singleplayer instead of a port of CZ I won't mind as much and I might consider paying $20, at most, for it... but if it is a direct port of CZ I won't play it unless it is free to owners of CZ (which I bought solely to test CS:S).

and i bought CZ for the beta, but i now play it instead of CS. Just because i bought it to get into the beta, doesnt mean i dont want to play it! i mean i wouldnt pay £20 to get into the beta alone, but i would pay £20 to get into the beta, improve the graphics of CS, improve the maps of CS, have a decent CS bot as well as better hostage AI, get tons of updates and play loads of anti-terrorist missions...

But i still wouldnt buy it if it wasnt for the beta... the beta was the selling point for me.

Definitely. Ill be taking tons of screens and putting them up. I should be able to run it at 1280x1024. And if there isnt a CS:S ScreenShot thread yet. I will definitely make one.

As thought I. But when i saw the updated gfx and weapon sounds(ace!) and hostages and enerything, I wounderd why I dident buy it earlyer. And I could only recomend buying it. For me noe, the betas only like the cheery on top.
