So my dad went to renew his passport and the people at the place were suspicous because he had so many stamps and that he was born in Egypt. My mom said they sent the passport to Washington for checking out etc, and I was wondering if it is a bad thing. Hes been living here for around 35 or 40 years. I really don't want the goverment to get some stupid ideas.

That doesn't sound right , you get stamps when you travel and being born in Egypt isn't a crime. Is there something you're not telling us ?.

Does your dad have experience in making bombs? If so, then I would suggest that you and your family go into hiding. If not, then you'll be fine.

You can only hope they don't suspect your dad of being a follower of that Arch-Terrorist, Cat Stevens.

They are suspicous because he travels alot and his passport is packed with stamps. He travels alot for work and a few times out of country. My mom and him were planning on going on vacation to Thailand for a while but now thats not happening since the goverment took his passport to investigate. I have no clue why.

"were aren't terrorists"

LEARN TO SPEAK AMERICAN

-.- Just what happened that I hoped wouldn't happen.

What just happened is what I'd hoped wouldn't happen.

If you feed a terrorist, you're a terrorist. GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY

Seriously though, why the suspicion? Couldn't he just produce records from his work showing that his travelling was work related?

Your dad is a terrorist. Way to be mildly responsible for escalating us to threat level orange.

Also, that sounds retarded...I just renewed my passport for a trip to the Caribbean and all it took was 5 minutes in the post office. Had to put a rush on it though which cost me a total of 170 dollars...****ing thieves.

My dad did rush his and payed $200 but they saw that he was born in Egypt (jewish) and that his passport was packed with stamps, so they got suspicous and sent it to the goverment for investigation. They won't give his money back or his point he used to buy tickets for the vacation. In my opinion it's racial profiling.

Well if you want to be a true American you should sue the shit out of them for that.

Egypt hates America because of our freedom and bacon. Seriously, you should try to get your money back--but I wouldn't get irate up in that peace--might find yourself in Gitanomo

You know how many people who never did anything wrong end up marked and barred from taking flights? I don't know either, but definitely some people do.

Yeah, foreigners gets ****ed in the US by the travel system. They can legally take your laptops or any electronic devices away and its pretty much impossible to get them back, and that kind of stuff pretty much only happens to people who arent pasty white americans.

I don't know whats going to happen, but his record is clean, he pays his taxes and works hard and has been living here for 40 years, so I don't see why they would do that except for the reason that his passport was loaded with stamps but that is because of work.

^ This.

That is the exact reaction they're looking for in this test of Americaness.

They're gonna do this to the wrong person one day with lots of monies and connections and if they turn out to be innocent, then they'll be sorry.

The U.S. travel system is shit and needs a major overhaul. Hell, even flying within the U.S. is a total pain in the ass. I'm surprised they haven't legalized strip searching yet.

If I had to travel cross-country, road trip. If overseas, swim. F*** the travel industry.

They did. They weren't.

They did. They weren't.
but didn't he say his family was Jewish? His dad's probably calling all his people of influence as we speak, reporting how the Jewish master plan for world domination has been delayed yet again because of a bunch of paranoid American feds. I'm sure they'll retaliate by crashing the global stock exchange and plunge the U.S. and the rest of the world into chaos. I'm preparing for the worst.

Er, I wasn't talking about tesher actually.

So travelling is a crime now?

Serious, sue the shit out of them, use one American justice flaw against another.

Er, I wasn't talking about tesher actually.
Well, if his family does a bunch of overseas traveling, then they probably have to have more money than most of us on these forums. I just assumed.

Your dad is obviously a CIA spy and they are testing him.

And you.

W/e I guess, they won't give him the points her earned for flying alot (which he used to buy the tickets), and they won't give him his 200$ he payed for the passport speed renewal.

There is no other option, you must retaliate on the Airliner.

I am not a ****ing terrorist, damn it! *gun shots ring out*
