Soon after I decided to try out the second part of the Kavatch quest (after the first oblivion gate, he asks for your help) - lets just say that's not intended for level 21 characters (sorry for saying I was 23). However I was able to aquire some dedric armor and a daedric weapon. :)

I saw some glass armor in a cabinet at figters guild. Might go take it. :D

What level are you to get all that?

when I come home from work tomorow..I will lv so fast :O I mean I gotta catch uo with you guys Im embarrased lol

the glass armor doesn't look nearly as cool now :(
the daedric armor's alright, though.

I agree with Que. In Morrowind the glass armor was the coolest, now it's too washed out and murky(?). Daedric armor is pretty sweet though.

that's sad... Glass armor looks so generic now.. like green tinted leather armor :(
In morrowind Glass armor was awesome and set apart from other sets by the shards of spikey glass sticking out all over the place.

Deadric looks absolutely awesome however

The glass armor looks like the first Hunter PvP set from WoW.

If you ask me, the new glass armor looks cool as hell... then again, I never played Morrowind.

Well looks like PC users can have one of their first mods to be created, a new version of the old glass armor. Could rename the new one "Opaque Glass Armor" and the old one "Translucent Glass Armor"

.....

........

:p

Wait, isn't there some really weird restriction regarding mods in Obliv?

I'm curious how the glass helmet looks - my current helmet has "detect life 85 ft" which means I'm an absolute killer rogue - I can see EVERYONE easily, but no one can see me! :)

The glass armor looks much cooler in-game, when I first saw it, I was like, "That's sweet!"

As far as oblivion MOD restrictions, we'll have to see when people start MODing, until then I don't care too much.

The only thing that was restriced from what I heard is you can't create animations and you can't create brand new skills.

But you can most certainly, as morrowind did, create tons of diff. suits of armor and special weapons and stuff. I just hope a "mannequin" mod comes out soon too because that was my thing in Morrowind. I'd hunt for full-sets of armor suits (even all the ones added into the game) and then display them in my house on the mannequins as trophies.

Holy shit glass armor looks SHIT now if that screenshot posted by the OP is any indication.

The glass armor from morrowind was ****ing awesome looking.

Reminds me of a bettle. Needs to be more sharp & transparent.

And it needs some ****ing glass shards sticking out of it like the glass armor of morrowind!

Can you get glass swords in Oblivion? I remember them in Morrowind... they looked amazing. *drools*

Think my brother has one, can't remember what he said about it.

But glass armor needs to look similiar to this, just far better model and textures!

They get a WTF stamp.

EDIT: And a kick to the groin. and perhaps a buckshot to the gut.

Those Idiots! WTF stamp indeed.
The new glass armor looks so horrible. It gets worse the more I look at it.

because this armor is a crappy rip-off of him. I sure hope they mod us some real glass armor. <3

quoted for the muvaflunkin' truth!

here's a glass sword in obliv... http://media.teamxbox.com/games/ss/1041/full-res/1142455945.jpg

the sword looks half-way decent, dunno what they were smoking when they made the crap they call glass armor in Obliv.

hell that armor looks more like they had a typo...

gRass armor ftl.

Glass armor? Well forget that!. Seriously though, glass armor is Light Armor, it does look like its heavy but its light all right. In Oblivion, I can powerlvl a charter super fast (Note that this is on the Xbox360) and has no mods whatsoever. If you want to make a powerful tank or mage and want to get a 30+ character in less than 2 days. Impossable? It's quite a simple task. Curently, I own a 24 mage and a 35 warrior class. Warriors - All the major skills you need for a powerful tank are as follows; Armorer, Athletics, Blade/Blunt, Block, Heavy Armor, Alteration, and Sneak. You might say to yourself, "Why the hell would a tank need Alteration and Sneak for? Well, think about it for a second, the first quest in the Darkbrother Hood, were you have to kill an old man named Rufio in the Ill Omen Inn, will be your first step to success. He sleeps a whopping 20 hours a day! Im sure you know what this means, STEALTH PARTY!!! While he is asleep, go to the end of his bed and on the right side of the chest (at the end of his bed) go into sneak mode and walk forword as fast as you can; use a rubber band to hold back the analog stick: and in about 90 mins, you'll have a skill of 100 Sneak. As for the alteration, and combat/magic stuff, you'll need to travel to the city of Leyawiin (Fast travel to its West gate) and go to Rosentia Gallenus's House. There, you should see Rosentia with 4 scamps near her. Turn the game difficultly to the highest it can go and hit all 4 one time each, and run to a corner (best place is the northwest corner of the house near the barrels and the candle lamp) then hold up your sheild and put a rubberband so the analog stick is pointing down (this is so the scamps do not knock you out of place) and make sure you then put the difficulty on the minimum lvl. Note:When luring the scamps the difficulty should be high because its possible to one hit these. Once on the min. lvl, let them hit you and ur block skill will go up fast (be sure to have plenty of health potions, u may need one every 2 1/2 mins when you down to 75% health. As for blade and blunt skills, turn the difficulty on very high and attack one and a time (try to move around a little or they might PWN your guts out of your armor lol). They spawn instantly so go to hell with the little creatures as much as you'd like. Theres also a Average Locked door there so when the scamps respawn when you kill them (takes like 4 seconds for the to respawn) you can just shoot your Open Very Easy Lock spell at it and it will help you lvl up a tad bit faster. Man, by the time your a lvl 30, you'll have full daedric armor, Umbra sword (best sword in Oblivion), 100 Strength, 100 Endurance and tons of left over points to spend on whatever you'd like. Questions? Send an email to [email protected] and I'll hook ya up to some tight ass gear from the burning pits of Oblivion itself. I will be able to read any emails every 6 hours. Hope this helps =D.

He posted before me, in case you didn't know.
